The Royal Lee's

Within the LEE family 'Royal' was used through a number of generations as a given name. This has assisted me in tracking down other branches of this family line. The first 'Royal Lee' that I currently have in my tree was :

d. 1887 Ely Cambridgeshire, England.

Royal LEE married Jane Creek (b.1803 Thetford, Cambridgeshire) on the 25th December 1829.

4. Caroline LEE - b.1841

This Royal LEE was also born in Ely Cambridgeshire, England. He was a Mariner and married Sarah Rhoda Wilkes (b.1837 Sydenham, Kent, England) on the 1st July 1861. They emigrated to New Zealand in 1874 with there 1st son and whilst Sarah was pregnant with her second child. Royal Lee died on the 27th June 1906 in Napier, New Zealand.

This Royal LEE was born in Plaistow, London, England and Emigrated with his parents to New Zealand when he was about 4 years old. Royal Married Sarah Anne Harlen (b.18 July 1874, Wellington, New Zealand) on the 9 February 1898. Royal died on the 14 May 1835 when the horse and cart he was driving was in collision with a train.
